Why wall printing?

Wallpaper and canvas paintings are out of date and present a number of limitations in terms of customisation and creativity. The main advantage over all alternative options is the flexibility of the machine in terms of surfaces. You have the freedom to print directly onto any surface, whether indoor or outdoor. With this option, you can print directly onto a wooden surface, or a concrete wall whereas wallpaper would definitely not achieve a comparable effect. 

Wall prints on the other hand, can easily adapt to the existing interior style and offer endless possibilities to personalise the interior. The high-quality surface of the wall print does not fade, does not flake and remains bright and vibrant for a long time. 

What kind of surfaces are suitable for printing?

We can print on different materials: concrete, wallpaper, stone wall, metal, glass, tiles, plastic and much more. 

How large can we print?

Print Height: The vertical axis is extremely flexible as it can be extended. The lowest ceiling height for using the wallPen is 1.7m (5ft 7"). After that, the axis can be extended up to 4 m (13ft)print height. 

Print width: unlimited

Due to the limitations of inkjet technology, there are margins in the corners to adjacent walls, floor and ceiling. These are 15cm left, 15cm right, 30 cm top and 30 cm bottom. 

What is to be observed?

Traditional printing is undertaken on a lighter wall colour with darker images, but we can print on other background colours as well. Undertaking jobs on a new wall is preferred, however, we also print on older walls as long as they are free of wallpaper peels, dampness, scuffs and holes. If required please undertake repairs prior to the print. The best effect with colourful images is obtained on a white background, but it can also be slightly coloured. Printing on dark surfaces is possible as we can put an underlay of white ink prior to the colour ink. 

What are the image requirements?

The better your image material, the better the print. We check beforehand whether a good print is also possible with the file. 

Can it be removed again?

Of course! On glass with a ceramic field scraper or a razor blade. Otherwise, a print can be painted over in two or three layers at any time. It is only necessary to sand wood as with metal or concrete, to work with sand or glass bead blasting technology. 

What are the cost of printing?
